SAFE is the French competitiveness cluster positioned in the Aeronautics & Space, Safety & Security, Defense and Environment (risks & resilience) sectors. With its locations in the South Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regions, it leads a network of more than 450 players (SMEs, ETIs, large groups, research and training centers, end users ) of which 60% are companies.
SAFE Cluster is one of the 3 poles of the national aeronautics and space sector.
The cluster is also an active contributor to the work of the CSF Industries de Sécurité, an industrial security sector which was set up by the Prime Minister to identify the key challenges of the sector and the reciprocal commitments of the State and industrialists in order to implement concrete proposals.
SAFE participates in the work carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition.
It is a member of the network of European Security Poles and collaborates in the research and development programs of the European Commission.
